The silver is marked with English hallmarks for Sheffield, Sterling with date letter for 1949 and has maker's stamp for George Hape. Variations of the King's pattern have been popular since the early 1800's and have been made by many silversmiths both in the US and in England. No monograms. Measures 8 5/8" long. Weighs 100 grams. The spoon is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
